Our Artists
Trained in the Classical style of the Old Masters, David has brought realism with attention to detail, vivid color, depth and perspective into the 21st Century, using a state-of-the-art digital approach to illustration.
By combining hand-drawing and digital painting with the use of 3D modeling and rendering software, he brings his creations to life. As a professional graphic artist, he employs a wide use of techniques to design logos, banners and headings for web and print media.
As an active field researcher, David has observed the Sasquatch at close range and has also documented elements of their behavior, such as their hunting and foraging techniques. He has collected evidence in the form of cast foot-and hand-prints as well as photographed shelters, bedding and the placement of objects in symbolic patterns. This knowledge and observation is incorporated into his illustrations.
David is also known as a musician and songwriter. His song “Sasquatch Walk the Land” affirms the nature of the Sasquatch as an indigenous people, our closest relatives on the planet Earth. Within the song is an appeal to those of like mind to work together for their benefit and protection. David Claerr’s book, “Sasquatch Genesis” is a collection of his essays and illustrations. It is slated to be published as an e-book for Kindle and other e-readers. A hard copy edition is also being developed.
